Each Custom Grunt Call, designed and built by Chris Riggs of Duck Creek Custom Calls, is truly one of a kind — no two will ever look the same. Every call is handcrafted from wood harvested on Realtree Farms, combining craftsmanship, heritage, and performance into a collectible piece of Realtree history.
Chris personally oversaw every step of the process — from hauling and cutting the wood, to drying it below 10% moisture, drilling, dying, and stabilizing each blank. Using a heat-activated resin infused with custom color dyes, the blanks are vacuumed, soaked for five days, and baked at 200°, transforming soft wood into a hardened, brilliantly colored masterpiece.
Once stabilized, Chris finishes, tunes, and assembles each call by hand — a meticulous process that took months of dedication, from December 2024 through spring 2025. Every finished call was brought to Realtree Headquarters, where Bill Jordan personally signed the barrels before they were fitted with lanyards and boxed. 5% of proceeds from these calls with be sent to the National Deer Association.
