Shocking video footage shows the moment a Canadian woman kicked a mountain lion to save her goat from its grasp. According to Fox 9, British Columbia farm owner Gina Moore came to the rescue of her Nigerian dwarf goat with a swift kick.

The footage shows several goats running through a barn, and then a cougar grabbing one of the goats around its neck. Moore then runs into the barn, shouting at the cat before kicking it.

"I honestly was just running on adrenaline," she told Storyful. "I knew there was a chance that the cougar would turn on me so I’d better make whatever I did count."

Moore has geese, cows, and four Nigerian dwarf goats named Leo, Mick, Donnie, and Raff, after the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. She said she bought them after losing a miniature horse to a black bear last year. She said bears and cougars have only become a threat recently.

"Developments are pushing them out of their natural habitat," she said.
