He pulled 36 pounds at the store so I went ahead and purchased the 30 to 60 # draw weight. When the bow arrived I lowered the draw weight for him but he was still having a bit of a hard time pulling it. I helped him shoot his 1st arrow and this bow is a shooter! I was amazed how fast the bow shot. He'll be practicing this year and I'm sure he'll be ready to shoot with me next year. This is definitely not a toy.
