Watch Elk Try to Attack Man as He Works On His Vehicle

Video footage shows an aggressive bull elk confronting a man has he was attempting to fix is truck in Estes Park, Colorado.

This close-encounter with the big-game animal occurred in September, during the start of the fall rut. At one point, you can hear the bull elk bugle.

According to Yahoo News, Servando Talamantes recorded footage of the elk ramming his vehicle as he stood behind it. You can hear someone in the background wisely encouraging Talamantes to get inside, as the elk could kill him. Indeed, Estes Park is the site of several elk attacks. Some have even resulted in death.

According to the National Park Service (NPS), the elk are often seen at lower elevations during the September rut and the bulls can be very aggressive.
