The newspaper delivery woman's viral video has been viewed almost 1 million times

A Bailey, Colorado, paper delivery woman saw something very few people ever will. While on her early morning route, she videoed a mountain lion attacking a mature mule deer buck.

According to Fox31 Denver, Racyn Renee was delivering papers in the town of Pine when she witnessed the attack. Renee said it was like watching Animal Planet live.

In the video, you can hear the distraught woman ask, "Oh my God, what should I do?" Seconds later, the mountain lion stands up, obviously distracted by the woman's car, and the deer escapes.

"I was talking with one of our area wildlife managers … She said in the last 10 years she knows of maybe three to five cases where people actually saw [a mountain lion] in person ... and getting it on camera is even rarer, explained Jason Clay, a public information officer with Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW).

Renee's video has been viewed more than 950,000 times online.

Mountain lions live across most of Colorado and are mostly nocturnal. Few people ever see them in the wild. According to CPW, there have been 22 mountain lion attacks on people in Colorado since 1990. Three of the attacks were fatal, with the most recent occurring in 1999.
