Mom Pries Mountain Lion's Mouth Open to Save Son
A mother will do anything to save her child. One British Columbia mother even pried a mountain lion's jaws open to save her 7-year-old boy during an attack earlier this week.
Chelsea Bromley's son Zach was playing in the family's backyard when the small mountain lion leaped at him and tried dragging him away.
Chelsea heard the commotion and charged at the animal. She jumped on the mountain lion and stuck her hands it its mouth to pry its jaws open -- all while praying to God for help. Finally, the cat released her son and ran off.
Zach is recovering with gashes to his head, neck and arm. Conservation officers have euthanized the mountain lion.
