The homeowners plan to mount the antlers
Although Ring doorbell cameras are designed to provide a bit of security to homeowners, they have caught some remarkable wildlife footage as well. A Ring camera in Houston, Alaska, recently captured the moment a moose shed both of its antlers at once.
According to Newsweek, Tyra and Chance Bogert were shocked to see their Ring camera footage of the moment a moose lost its antlers on their property.
It can typically take a moose hours or days to shed its antlers, and it's incredibly unusual for both antlers to drop at the same time.
Chance Bogert told Newsweek, "I knew it was rare because all my hunting friends said they've never seen it in real life, let alone being caught on video."
Another Ring video shows Bogert picking up the antlers and showing them off to the camera.
The viral video received thousands of viewer comments.

"Dude just hit the eject button like on an electric hand mixer," said one commenter.
"Why did I always think they had to rub on something to make them come off?" asked another viewer.
The family plans to mount the antlers and even captured a cute photo of their baby son Thrasher next to the antlers.
