I went out with a submissive hen, breeder, lookout, and a full fan tom. I made a few yelps and clucks. I started cutting and a few hours later a Tom/jake, (it was too far to recognize) walked across the field 300 m away. Other than that, no gobbles/responses. The fields were burnt probably 4 days ago and it's just starting to get green around here. We still have a couple days. Hopefully tomorrow's rain puts them in a different mood.
