Brandon Mayes, AKA That Bass Fishing Dude, is an adventure-based angler from central Texas. Brandon is 10-year military veteran that fell heavily in love with paddle sports and kayak fishing. Standing 7ft tall, it’s highly unlikely to see another angler with his stature in a kayak, dubbed the “tallest kayak angler in the world.” Brandon spends much of his time chasing bass on big water, rivers, and those off the beaten path creeks that are teaming with life and adventure just waiting to be had. A multi-faceted angler, he enjoys fly fishing, conventional, and throwing larger than life swimbaits to target those big eaters looking for a meal. Brandon is also passionate about filming, documenting, and sharing his adventures with the world in the hopes it inspires others to get up off the couch and find their adventure!
