Realtree is kicking off 2024 with the launch of an all-new camo pattern called APX, which will keep you hidden whether you’re in the turkey woods, deer stand, or duck blind. And here, you’re getting a first look at a pile of new gear sporting Realtree APX, from tree saddles and packs to boots and outerwear.

Part of Rocky’s Trophy Series collection, the RKS0639, featuring the new Realtree APX camo, is a versatile, all-around rugged boot built to handle diverse terrains from swamps to wetlands to backcountry hiking trails. The RKS0639 features a waterproof rubber upper with 3mm Neoprene bootie construction and a durable multi-terrain rubber outsole. The RKS0654 features waterproof, full-grain leather with 900 Denier Cordura. The durable multi-terrain rubber outsole stands up against rugged terrain, while the Rocky Air-Port Lite sponge PU footbed with memory foam provides comfort during those long-distance treks. NPG Game Tracker 8-inch Realtree APX Boot
The NPG Game Tracker 8-inch boot is built to take on extreme terrain and frigid weather. With a comfort rating of -10C, the boot features an insulating EVA midsole and Sympatex and G1 Memory Fit for superior comfort. The deep outsole pattern secures optimal grip on uneven ground, while the Lynx ICE-GRIP provides ultimate grip in -45C/+30C temperatures. The heel notch secures flexibility in the foot joint. The laces lock in two positions to secure the heel fit. The full-grain leather is durable while the Sympatex membrane is 100% waterproof.

The Mystery Ranch TREEHOUSE 20 and 38 are hanging gear quiver packs designed specifically for treestand hunters. Fuzzy polyester laminate backed with Nylon 210 fabric dampens sound. The packs also resist water and provide easy access to the interior. The top-loading design provides access to multiple interior sleeves and pockets for organization and customized accessory attachment. An adjustable tree strap allows the pack to be quickly attached to the tree in the optimal position. Tethrd Realtree APX Camo FAS Pack
The Tethrd FAS Pack is built to last with MILSPEC materials and 100% USA manufacturing. The laser-cut MOLLE saves weight for the mobile hunter and provides maximum flexibility, plus you can add pockets or straps to customize the pack to your liking. It’s on the smaller side, so the hunter doesn’t have to deal with a bulky pack in the tree. The pack features a 1000-cubic-inch main pocket, as well as top lid and side pockets. MILSPEC mesh is on all of the internal zippered pockets. The main body of the pack is constructed of bombproof 500 D Cordura and Squadron B-52 materials. It features YKK zippers throughout. Two grommets in the bottom of each side pocket allow for drainage purposes and utilizing retractable gear hoists. The interior is made of durable and quiet micro fleece. Federal Ammunition has debuted their first ever line of made-in-house range bags and gun cases, including a couple rugged shotgun cases suited to waterfowl hunters and decorated in Realtree Max-7 camo. The cases feature protective foam padding that floats up to 12 pounds and rigid, zippered accessory pockets for carrying loose shells, choke tubes, and other essentials. Suggested retail price is $60.

New Guns
CVA’s Cascade line of bolt-action rifles is known for outstanding accuracy and reliable performance at an affordable price, and they have a few new additions this year, including the Cascade Varmint Hunter, which features a medium-heavy barrel contour, flat fore end and adjustable stock, along with a high-capacity magazine for more shooting and less reloading when you’re sitting over a prairie dog town. The Varmint Hunter isn’t too heavy for coyote hunters, though, at 9 pounds, and it’s chambered in popular varmint cartridges including 204 Ruger, .223, .22-250 and .243. The rifle is finished in Realtree Hillside and MSRP starts at $900.
Beretta A300 Ultima Snow Goose
The Beretta A300 Ultima is known as a classic, tough and reliable gun, and the new A300 Ultima Snow Goose in Realtree Arctic Fox camo, brings these qualities together in a design that is specifically for snow goose hunting. The 12-guage shotgun features an extended tube, is red-dot-optic compatible and boasts oversized controls. The larger bolt handle and bolt release allow for easy manipulation in adverse conditions. It’s also M-Lok compatible for mounting lights and cameras.
The new Spandau Arms S2 Turkey will be decked out in Realtree’s new APX pattern and available just in time for turkey season. This 12-gauge shotgun will feature a 24-inch barrel and the Benelli Mobil Choke System with five patterns. The S2 also comes in a waterfowl option with a 28-inch barrel and decked out in Realtree MAX-7 camo. The MSRP is $499.
New Compound Bows
Mathews debuted the new SwitchWeight-X cam on the 2024 Lift, their most notable cam redesign in years. The Lift borrows technology from last year’s Phase 4 including the Resistance Phase Dampening limbs. But there are noticeable differences in the cam system, including to both the geometry and cut-outs. But the biggest change is the axle system, which is now mounted on the outside of the limbs instead of through them. Mathews says this results in more working surface area for the limbs, improving stability. The Lift 29.5 is speedy too at 348 IBO.
Hoyt’s new HBX Xact on the Alpha X aluminum flagship bow allows shooters to tailor the draw length to quarter-inch adjustments, customize the back wall and let-off, and maximize efficiency at any draw length. The Alpha X is 25% quieter than last year’s VTM series, and with 18% less vibration. It’s built to accept the newest in accessories with a dovetailed IRM rest mount, in-line picatinny rail sight mount, and QD Quiver system compatibility.
The CenterMass Technology system on the Bowtech Core SR is designed to help stabilize the bow in hand and at full draw. The Core SR also has features like the DeadLok Cam system and FlipDisc, which allow users to perfect their tune at home without a press, and customize the feel of the draw cycle. The Core SR boasts a speedy 344 fps IBO, and the riser is dovetailed for arrow rests sporting the Integrated Rest Mounting system.
