The Pennsylvania Game Commission is asking hunters to report incidents of poaching that they witness.
WGAL reports that poaching is especially bad during the firearms deer season.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission says there were 390 violations of killing big game during the season in 2023, and the majority of those were deer.
The commission asks that if you report a poaching incident to describe what you saw, the species involved, and provide the date, time, and location of the crime.
If you report a poaching incident that leads to a conviction, you could receive a $250 reward.
Pennsylvania’s 2024 general firearms season for deer ran from November 25 through November 30.
