Wild Turkey Slow Cooker Tetrazzini
This easy-to-make turkey tetrazzini will be a crowd pleaser. Start it before you head out for the day and let is simmer in the slow cooker. When you get home, you only need to add a few more ingredients while it finishes cooking.
1 Wild Turkey Breast, cut into bite sized chunks
1 Zesty Italian dressing mix packet
8 ounces mushrooms, halved or sliced
1 Onion, diced
Chicken broth, 1 quart
Frozen peas 12-ounce package
Cream cheese 8-ounce block
Italian blend shredded cheese 8 ounces
Pasta 16 ounces, cooked al dente
Cook the turkey breast, onion, mushrooms, chicken broth and Italian dressing mix in the slow cooker. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Add peas, pasta, stir, add cream cheese (cut cream cheese into pieces). Add the shredded cheese. Switch slow cooker to high. Cook for one more hour.
