Matt Arey, from Shelby North Carolina has fished professionally for 12-years. After a long career with FLW that saw him win the co-angler division of the Forrest Wood Cup in 2006 and three events as a pro, Matt made the move to the Bassmaster Elites in 2019 Since then, he has managed six Top 10 finishes and qualified for the Bassmaster Classic 4-times with a 2nd place finish in 2021. When he’s not on the water, Matt enjoys bow and turkey hunting.
