If I am eating the wrap right away, I like to reheat the fried turkey for a few minutes in the air fryer to get the nuggets heated and back to crispy without drying them out. If I am packing them for lunch, I just leave it cold. These are great either way.

I’ve never enjoyed biting into a wrap and pulling everything out with the first bite, so I chop up the ingredients, including the turkey. You probably don’t need me to tell you how to build a wrap, but here it is anyway. Start by slicing the turkey fingers into bite-sized strips. Heat your tortillas either in a pan or in the microwave to make them soft and pliable.

Slice the turkey so that the wraps are easy to eat on the go.

Lay out a tortilla, put down some shredded lettuce, pile on some fried wild turkey, some crispy bacon, then lay on whatever toppings you like.

Layer the ingredients on the tortilla.

For me, that means pickled red onions and banana peppers for crunch and tons of added flavor. You can also add sliced tomatoes, jalapeños, pickles, or whatever else you like.

Additional ingredients can be pickled onions, banana peppers, jalapeños, pickles, or anything else you enjoy.

Top everything with a drizzle of ranch and a handful of shredded cheddar cheese. Fold in the ends of the tortilla over the filling, then roll to seal everything up.

Top the wrap with cheese and ranch dressing.

You can eat these for lunch, dinner or a snack at home, or you can pack them in a cooler and eat them for a filling lunch after a morning turkey hunt.
