From pothole mallards to rice field sprigs to spring snow geese, MAX-7 will keep you hidden while on the X

Realtree MAX-7 features photorealistic imagery of common elements found in open waterfowl habitat such as reeds, mud, cattails, milo, and corn. MAX-7 combines these elements in the foreground of the pattern with a highly detailed layer of cracked mud and moss in the background to unite the pattern and enhance its concealment capabilities with shadows and highlights.

Realtree MAX-7 vs. MAX-5 and Timber

The biggest difference between MAX-7 and its predecessor, MAX-5, is in where the two are designed to work best. MAX-5 has a slightly darker color pallet designed to blend in with flooded timber as well as flooded fields. Realtree Timber is a purpose-built pattern for hunting flooded green timber, cypress brakes, backwaters, and other darker, timbered areas (Timber has found particular favor among turkey hunters, too).

Like Timber, MAX-7 is a purpose-built pattern designed to be used in more open areas that ducks and geese haunt across the country. It's equally at home in flooded corn, milo, rice stubble, and cattails. Whether you hunt the potholes and dry fields of the northern prairies, the estuaries of southern Louisiana, or the marshes of California's Sacramento Valley, Realtree MAX-7 will keep you concealed from the prying eyes of circling waterfowl.

What Makes Realtree MAX-7 Superior?

The carefully selected color palette of MAX-7 contains precise shadowing and contrast, plus high-definition imagery to make it a top-performing camouflage pattern for waterfowl hunters. Realtree MAX-7 can morph and blend into almost any waterfowl hunting environment out there. Simply put, we design patterns to let hunters look like the areas they are hunting in. Designing a pattern to do that is easier said than done, said Realtree founder and CEO Bill Jordan. Color is key, and contrast is essential. Our team has spent countless hours designing, learning, testing, and optimizing this pattern to make it better than any open-country waterfowl pattern we've ever released. We're beyond excited to bring MAX-7 to market and look forward to meeting and exceeding the expectations of our loyal customers.
