What's your favorite recipe for deer meat?
I'll give you the top three reasons I deer hunt. Backstrap. Tenderloin. And backstrap. Food ‚ that's the main reason we hunt, right? It is for me and many hunters that I know. I'm not saying you shouldn't hunt for fun or to be with family and friends. Those are excellent reasons, too. But I just can't ever seem to get the thought of pan-seared backstrap smothered in gravy out of my mind.
And from all of the recipes he cranks out, neither can Timber2Table's Michael Pendley. He reveals two new recipes each week and they're always hard on the appetite and easy on the taste buds. Here are my 10 favorite Timber2Table recipes for venison.
