Deer Management with 4S Wildlife at Realtree Farms

Team Realtree partners with 4S Wildlife for their premium food plot seeds, protein feed, and attractants

Realtree has joined forces with 4S Advanced Wildlife Solutions, a premium wildlife nutrition company with products that promote whitetail herd health and maximize antler growth. In fact, many of those products are currently being used to manage deer at Realtree Farms.
“We’re excited for the future with them,” said Realtree’s Tyler Jordan. “We’re using everything from 4S attractants to seed at the farm right now. And we’re actually testing some different products for them right now in the field for some Realtree/4S-branded products we’ll release in the next couple of years.”

Jordan was introduced to 4S through a friend, and he used several 4S products before contacting the company. The results sold him.
“We tried it out before I even reached out to them on a potential partnership,” he said. “We used their Roasted Raxx and 4S Draw first. I was shocked by both of them. Roasted Raxx is a mix of corn and roasted soybeans, and it’s a lot more nutritious for deer than just feeding them corn out of the bag. The Draw is an attractant, and deer really like it.”
4S, located in Reynolds, Georgia, and owned by Bruce Swearingen, began in 2008. Currently, it manufactures a full line of products to help attract, hold, hunt and grow big, healthy deer.
“The base concept of our mission is simple: Create and provide advanced wildlife solutions,” the company’s website said. “The hard part? Nutrition. Proper rations. Understanding wildlife health and digestive systems. The family of wildlife nutrition products you see today is the product of thousands of hours of research, field-testing in different areas of the country and trial and error alongside several wildlife nutritionists.”

Jordan said the 4S products speak for themselves, but Realtree also sensed a natural synergy with the folks at the company.
“They’re just some of the best people you’ll find,” he said. “They’re an hour from the farm, so it’s convenient for them to come back and forth. We’ve enjoyed getting to know them and spending time in deer camp together, and we look forward to more of that.”
