I’m told there is a SUPER football game coming up this weekend. If you want to go beyond the traditional bag of chips and a BOWL of salsa, plug in the air fryer for this quick and easy crab meat-stuffed puffed pastry.

To start, you will need some good blue crab. From Maryland to the Gulf Coast, I’m lucky to spend time in a lot of places where you can just drop a trap and catch fresh blue crabs anytime you need some. While the picking of the crab meat takes some time, the results are worth it.

Start with lump or claw blue crab meat.

This one is a combination of a flaky stuffed pastry and a crab rangoon. The puff pastry can be found in the frozen foods part of just about any grocery store. Just let it sit out on the counter until it is soft and pliable.

Puff pastry from the grocery makes this one simple to put together.

The best part of this recipe is how simple it is. The air fryer makes short work of the pastries, but you can cook them in the oven at 375 degrees if you don’t want to use the air fryer.
